Hi, my friend- I've been to prison. Last year, I underwent a transformative journey during a visit to an Arizona correctional facility with Televerde. Televerde actively involves incarcerated women in the workforce, emphasizing skill development in technology and marketing, focusing on empowerment and fostering positive change. I witnessed firsthand how emerging technology could facilitate human connections. This answered an ongoing question I’ve grappled with since I introduced H2H™ (Human-to-Human) in 2014 – How can technology help deepen human relationships? It's a brilliant example of how technology (AI) and humans work together for the greater good. What truly resonated with me is Televerde's socially responsible business model. These incarcerated women are offered valuable opportunities for personal growth and reintegration into society, leading to extraordinary business outcomes. As I talked with this group of intelligent and passionate women, it was evident that they were dedicated to serving Televerde’s clients, from what I observed because of the sense of purpose, pride, dignity, and new skillset it gave them. This sense of a shared mission has generated over $12 billion in revenue since 1994, showcasing the effectiveness of a mutually beneficial business model. Join me with Televerde in discussing how AI and humans can work together for the greater good on March 6th. Why is this a meaningful conversation now more than ever? Let’s consider the remarkable pace of adoption of emerging technologies throughout history: Electricity required 37 years to achieve mass adoption, followed by the Internet in 17 years and the smartphone in 21 years. However, in fascinating contrast, ChatGPT achieved mass critical adoption in a mere ten months, marking a seismic shift in human attitudes toward technological integration and human-machine interaction. (Source: Oliver Wyman) Companies like Televerde are using new tech to deepen human relationships and make the human experience more meaningful in the future. In our upcoming webinar, we will talk about and answer these questions:
I am thrilled to be answering all these questions and more in an intimate interview with Televerde and myself on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. Join me and Managing Director Chris Mercer as we explore the powerful combination of AI and H2H in relationship-driven growth. Register here for the live event (replay available) In gratitude- |

Hi friend Have you ever considered what would happen if you hit “pause” on everything—work, family, friends, your phone, even your voice? For 10 days, I did just that. I recently finished a Vipassana meditation course in Macedonia, a journey into silence and self-awareness, and what I experienced was nothing short of transformative. Don’t get me wrong—it was Mt. Everest-level hard to live like a monk for ten days. Before the retreat, my life was like a browser with too many tabs open—every...
Hi, my friend- If there’s one thing I’ve discovered while living in Europe, it’s that coffee is art and science. They take their coffee very seriously here in Portugal. Back in the States, I used to order my coffee tall, black, and with a splash of cream. Here in Europe, most people prefer a ‘café,’ a simple yet profound shot of espresso. I would gulp it down when I first arrived in Portugal, but now I savor every sip. Just a few doors down, I sat on one of the three stools at Tiago's café....
Hi, my friend- Eight months ago, Courtney and I moved to the city center of Lisbon, Portugal, a city rich in culture, food, and history. It's a very walkable, meandering city—small but expansive—and I have fallen in love with every inch of it. While I'll frequently return to the US, noticed one glaring thing... Everyone I have met here stays above the line. Within one block from our flat is Pedro, our grocer; Jaoio, my barber; Maria, our banker; Tiago, who owns a tiny coffee shop; Ana, who...
